GENERAL RULES
The whole stock exhibited by any member must be BONA F IDE his own property and must have been in his possession at least two months immediately preceding the Show. Pure-bred cows must have had a calf during the past 12 months.
All cups and trophies to remain the property of the Club unless otherwise stated. All cups and trophies won at last year's Show must be returned by 1st June 2004 prior to Show Date of 3rd July 2004. Contact Secretary (Tell/Fax: 01569 730629 to find out the nearest point to deliver it to). NOTE TO ALL WINNERS: Cups and Trophies to be collected on Show Day from the Secretary's Tent. Protests must be lodged in writing with the Secretary before 1.30 p.m. on the day of the competition, accompanied by a deposit of £15 which will be forfeited in the event of the protest not being sustained.
Judging of Horses and ponies will commence at 9.00 a.m. prompt.
Judging of Cattle and Sheep will commence at 9.30 am, prompt, after which time no livestock will be admitted. All prize winning livestock must take part in the parade unless exemption has been granted by the Management Committee or Government Restrictions prevent participation. No Livestock to be removed from the Showground until after the parade.
The Management Committee reserve the right to alter or cancel any of the classes in the event of there being insufficient entries. All other rules and regulations are as stated in the Club Constitution which is subject to the interpretation of the Management Committee.
It is the responsibility of the exhibitor to ensure that stock be kept under control at all times.
N.B. —No animal can be entered or exhibited in more that One Class throughout the Cattle Sections, except for Pairs, Groups. Etc.
EXHIBITORS SHOULD NOTE THAT THERE IS A SECTION FOR MAEDI-VISNA ACCREDITED SHEEP, and these sheep must be accompanied by proof of Accredited Status.
